We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Junior Underwriter
Location: Marina, Oba Akran, and Ikeja – Lagos
Department: Retail Credit Risk
Role Overview
- The Junior Underwriter will support credit risk assessment by evaluating loan applications and ensuring compliance with credit policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Review loan applications and supporting documents
- Conduct basic credit analysis
- Verify applicant information and financial data
- Support risk assessment and approval processes
- Ensure adherence to internal credit guidelines
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess a B.Sc / HND (Minimum: Second Class Lower / Lower Credit)
- Age: 28 years and below
Requirements:
- Background in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field preferred
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Attention to detail
- Understanding of credit risk fundamentals
